  • Clean, natural, and away from your face. If you have curly or textured hair, you can show both natural and straightened looks if possible.

  • No. Avoid anything that distracts from your natural appearance, including earring, necklaces, and bold nail polish. Most agencies prefer nails to be short with no polish. But if painted, they should be in a nude color.

  • Fitted clothing in solid black that shows your body shape. Women often wear a tank top and skinny jeans or leggings. Men wear a fitted t-shirt and jeans. Agencies typically like to see all black, but if not, colors like white or nude would be the next best thing.

  • Yes, if you're submitting to an agency that requires them (especially for commercial, swimwear, or fitness modeling). Choose a simple black solid-colored swimsuit.

  • No. The goal is to show your natural shape, so avoid anything that alters it artificially.
